Hotel jobs in Italy – positions in hospitality and catering

Work and Travel Italy

The paid work placements in Italy are all in 3* - 5* hotels and rural accommodation, Global Choices can arrange work placements in the following locations in Italy: Gallipoli, Santa Maria di Leuca, Costa de Salento, etc.

Participants may occupy jobs in different departments. A work placement in hotel Reception is only possible if the participant has an excellent knowledge of Italian language plus previous work experience. Most common types of Jobs: Kitchen assistant, Room maid, Waiter, Bar staff, Reception, Animator...

Employer provides accommodation: Hotel room (usually shared) with full board.

The minimum contract is for 4 weeks, the maximum is 6 months (contracts may be extended).

The minimum guaranteed wage is between € 200 and € 400 per month, depending upon the establishment, experience and the type of employment. Normal working hours are between 38 and 40 per week. However, specific working hours depend on the region and season.

Internships in Canada

Internship Training Programme in Canada is to enhance the skills and knowledge of qualified trainees in their field through participation in a structured programme.We offer basic kinds of internships, designed to meet the various visa requirements and all fields of interest.
Programme summary. Have a look at our available positions:

Type One : Hospitality and Tourism Internship
Available positions: housekeeping, banquets, events, front desk, guest services, marketing, accounting.Interns would work for 6-12 month terms at a hotel, starting in a night-auditor role and circulate throughout the hotel to experience each of the different departments and roles.Interns for this position must have at least one year of experience at a hotel or resort or be recent graduates of a hotel management course. Interns are paid approximately $10 - $15 per hour and receive subsidized accommodation at the hotel or resort for $7 - $10 per day.

Type Two : IT Internship
This internship may be paid or unpaid and it is open to French, German, and Swiss internship visa-holders and to Working Holiday Visa Holders from other countries. Internships are available in Vancouver for ASP.Net Developers, Database Administrators, Java Developers, Software Developers, and Web Application Developers. Interns may work at major IT firms (ex. Electronic Arts), small and medium-sized IT firms and within the IT departments of major hotels or manufacturers. If paid, interns typically receive a stipend of $200 - $400 per week. To be paid, interns are required to have a minimum of 1 year’s related experience. If they do not have experience, or their skills are not applicable in Canada they may still be eligible to participate in an unpaid internship.

Type Three: Professional Internship
Our core business – professional internships are available in dozens of different professions. Internships are from 4 weeks to 6 months.

Working Holiday Canada

A Working Holiday Visa for Canada is the easiest, most convenient visa status you can have. You can study, work and travel as you would like. Just note that a Working Holiday Visa is not renewable. It is only good for 1 year, so you should plan things out.

Teaching Languages abroad is a fantastic opportunity to travel overseas, experience a new culture and gain valuable teaching experience. This travel and teaching abroad programme is available to undergraduates, graduates and gap year students. The participants are expected to apply at least 3 months prior to their preferred start date.

TEACHING IN CHINA

The positions in China are for teaching English in schools and universities. Teaching time in China is usually 12 up to 19 hours a week. Each teaching period lasts from 40 minutes in primary school to one hour in the university. For your work at a public school, college or university, you will likely be paid between 3,000 and 5,000RMB/month (roughly US$400-$620) in addition to free housing. (Eligibility and Application).

TEACHING IN BRAZIL
This programme is a great opportunity to learn or improve your Portuguese, meet new people and experience an amazing culture while studying, living and teaching languages in Brazil. It is a practical programme where the student will get training in teaching. This placement is a fantastic chance to experience the Latin American culture and valuable work and travel experience in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. TEACHING IN SPAIN

This programme enables students to travel to Spain and teach English within the home of a host family.
